Built so there is nothing to leak.

Most apps promise to look after your data. We would rather not be holding it in the first place.

Nothing leaves the app

  • Screenshots come out blank. Captures, screen recordings, casting and mirroring are all refused by Android itself — on every screen, not only the ones with photos.
  • Private photos stay locked. Keep some photos hidden by default. Someone has to ask, and you decide who — one person at a time.
  • Blur, if you want it. Off by default. Switch it on and strangers see a blur until you match.

Nobody learns where you live

  • A grid, not a pin. Distance is worked out from a coarse cell, so people see roughly where you are and never an address.
  • Your exact position is never stored. Not kept, so it cannot be leaked, subpoenaed or sold.
  • You choose the area. We open one neighbourhood at a time, and yours opens when enough people there have joined.

Everyone is a real person

  • Verified with a live gesture. A pose we choose at that moment, so an old photo or someone else's picture will not pass.
  • Checked by a person. Reviewed by a human, and the selfie is destroyed once the decision is made.
  • Block, report, leave. All three work properly, and a report survives the account that filed it.

There is nothing to sell

  • No advertising business. Nobody is paying us for your attention, so nothing is designed to keep you scrolling.
  • No tracking SDKs. No third-party analytics sitting inside the app watching what you do.
  • Deleted means deleted. Close your account and everything is permanently erased fourteen days later.

Is it really free?

Yes. No subscription, no ads, no paywalled likes. Premium exists and it is genuinely optional — and the first 3,000 women to join keep it free for life.

How can screenshots be blocked?

The app sets a flag on its own window that tells Android not to put its contents into a screen capture. Screenshots, screen recordings, casting and mirroring all come back blank — on every screen, not just the ones with photos. It is enforced by the operating system, not by us asking nicely.

Can someone still photograph my profile with another phone?

Yes, and no app can stop that. We would rather say so than pretend otherwise. What we can stop is the effortless version — a screenshot taken in a second and forwarded to a group chat — and that is what we have stopped.

Are my photos blurred by default?

No. Your photos show normally unless you switch blurring on, and plenty of people never will. It is there for anyone who wants to be seen only after a match, not something we impose on you.

How exact is the location you show?

Coarse, deliberately. We work from a grid rather than your precise coordinates, so people see roughly where you are and never where you live. Your exact position is not stored.

When is the iPhone version coming?

Android first, iPhone after. Join the waitlist and pick iPhone — that is how we decide when it is worth building, and you will hear the moment it exists.

Do you sell or share my data?

India, starting in Bangalore. We open an area once enough people there have joined, so nobody's first session is an empty app. Whichever neighbourhood you put on the waitlist is a vote for opening it next.

Why "Wobblenest"?

A nest doesn't get built in one swipe. It takes a little wobble, some trial and error, and two people actually choosing to build something together. That's the kind of dating app we set out to make — one that's honest about the process, not just the outcome.

It is built in Bangalore, by a very small team, and it is not owned by anybody else. Tinder, Hinge and OkCupid are one American company; Bumble is the other. We are neither, which is the only reason a price like ours is possible — a fraction of the ₹4,800 to ₹26,000 a year the apps you know charge.
